剧情介绍：
明朝末年江南沿海地区倭寇横行，围棋棋坛也面临正义的围棋精神和邪恶的围棋势力发生的冲突江流儿的父亲江灵运身为朝廷密派的朝廷大员带着江流儿到江南暗中调查通倭事件，江流儿被临时寄养在凌云寺，江流儿在凌云寺与三个小和尚同时对弈大胜，老和尚圆德深感江流儿是百年不遇的围棋天才。江流儿崇拜的抗倭英雄妖刀王被人诬陷通寇，江灵运在调查中觉的此事蹊跷时中了暗箭身亡，江流儿成了孤儿。圆德和尚鼓励江流儿到外面的围棋世界闯一闯学习各门派的棋艺，参加二十年一届的围棋国手大赛。江南围棋四大门派为能在国手大赛中争得“棋圣”称号明里暗里展开了激烈的竞争，处世不深的江流儿被西金棋院利用把棋坛搅得乌烟瘴气，老国手刘南如为挽救这个围棋天才被迫与江流儿对弈却被江流儿用长考把老国手拖垮在棋盘上，引起了强烈的反应……
