剧情介绍：
马克是美国AMD公司的副总裁他领导的赖氨酸新产品试验持续失败，马克报告是日本竞争对手恶意投毒所致。公司向FBI报案，后者开始监听马克家的电话。马克担心他协助公司干扰自由竞争、抬高市场价格的不法行为暴露，主动向FBI揭露公司限定赖氨酸价格一事。在FBI探员的协助下，马克当起了FBI的线人，开始收集公司的犯罪证据。但谁也没想到，马克在揭露AMD公司不法行为的同时，自己却隐瞒了无法告人的秘密。
