剧情介绍：

该剧围绕着贞节牌坊，讲述了民国时期青河镇佟、季两个封建大家庭中六个女人与命运顽强抗争的故事，妯娌之间、姑嫂之间、主仆之间错综复杂的关系、为情为利的争斗，串起了一幕幕动人的悲欢离合民国六年，在地处偏远的江南清河镇，号称“佟半朝”的佟家和“暴发户”季家本就势不两立，而季寡母守得了由前朝当红太监单公公假借圣谕颁发的贞节牌坊，风光一时。佟家族长佟善群便要自家女人也守回个贞节牌坊、烈女碑来，以彰显门庭，致使三个无辜女人陷入了爱不能爱、恨不能恨的人间地狱……
